Beginning Sewing Class
This 5 week course is designed for brand new sewists. No prior experience necessary. You will learn the basics of sewing/Quilting.
Project: We will be making our very own "Starbright" quilt wal lhanging/table topper measuring 21"x21".
Session Breakdown as follows:
Week 1 : concepts & terminology, Tools, pattern, choose fabrics
Week 2: Prepare Fabric, cut, layout, sew, Iron, square up
Week 3: Continue from week 2, finish block
Week 4: Batting, Backing, quilting
Week 5: Binding
Shop supplies the following:
* Sewing Machine
* Cutting Station/Rotary Cutter
* Iron Station
You are welcome and we encourage you to bring your own tools.
