Christmas Tree Jelly Roll Rug
Grab a holiday Jelly Roll and stitch up this lovely Christmas tree skirt with us!
Prefer, but not required, your strips sewn together prior to class. It is a long class.
Homework: Finish your tube if not completed in the first class.
If joining strips before class, please contact me first for a few tips and tricks.
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before class starts to unload and set up your sewing machine, etc. We have lots to cover and want to be ready to go when class starts. Feel free to bring a snack/lunch. You are also welcome to stay after class to continue sewing your project.
Supplies Needed:
- *1 Jelly Roll or 3 Yards of fabric of your choice.
- *1 50yd roll of Bosal 2.25" wide 100% cotton batting (Katahdin on-a-roll)
- *Jeans sewing machine needles, size 14-18
- *1-2 large spools of 100% cotton thread, at least 1200 yds (blend with fabrics)
- Best Press or spray starch is optional but may be helpful
- *JRR Tube Maker Tool.
- *8" square of sew-in stabilizer
- Sewing machine, cord, foot etc. (Machine provided, we encourage you to bring your own, you will have homework and best if completed on the same machine)
- A walking foot is highly recommended
- Basic sewing supplies-scissors, pins, seam ripper, etc.
